All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English. Please have your abstract proofread for grammar and syntax.

The structure of the abstract will be defined as follows:

Abstract topic: Carefully select the adequate topic for your abstract submission. Please choose from the following categories:
1. Basic research in liver fibrosis and cirrhosis: Experimental and pathophysiology
2. Diagnosis and staging
3. Non-invasive assessment - Serum biomarkers
4. Imaging technology
5. Traditional medicine in liver fibrosis
6. Etiological management - Viral hepatitis
7. Etiological management - Autoimmune and DILI
8. Etiological management - MAFLD
9. Research and trials: Novel pharmaceutical targets
Title: The title of your abstract should be precise and explicit. The number of characters in your title should be between 50 and 250 maximum.

Authorship: List all authors with their affiliations (institution, city and country). Email addresses of both corresponding author and first author must be indicated.

Abstract body: Abstracts should be between 500 and 2,500 characters including spaces (excluding title and authors). Do not use abbreviations, footnotes or references in the abstract.

You should structure your abstract using the following headings:
• Background and aims
• Methods
• Results
• Conclusions

Figure/tables:
Images and tables should be pasted in JPG/BMP format with enough resolution (minimum 150dpi).
